They used to do summer programs there. Under the bandstand was a room where they put ping pong tables. One year on Halloween eve, our Methodist youth group decided to gather doorpads and put them at the bandstand! lol Many years later, my young sons started a fire on the bandstand which made the local paper! And people wonder why I'm grey! LOL
